  2. Apply to the FoundationBring proof of income: pay stubs or a benefit letter.
  3. Pick your optionChoose one of the four ways to use your month.

Good to know

  • The money goes straight to the property. It is never paid in cash.
  • It covers base rent or your deposit. Not utilities, pets or fees.
  • One sponsorship per household, per lease.
  • Your choice is final for the lease. Unused credit does not roll over.
  • For a free month or half months, tell us in writing one full month ahead.
  • Funds are limited. Qualifying does not guarantee an award.

Marston Foundation Rental Sponsorship Program. Estimates only. All awards depend on Foundation approval, verified documents and available funding. With the deposit option, the Foundation pays up to 75% of the standard deposit, you pay at least $250 or 25%, and any unused Foundation share returns to the Foundation at move-out. The written program policy controls. The Foundation follows fair housing law.
